GENERAL SUMMARY

A specialist in acoustics, applied mathematics and engineering, with extensive experience of theoretical and practical work in the field of modeling and simulation, design of equipment, nondestructive analysis and evaluation. Engaged in research and development leading to creation of new and improvement of existing methods, algorithms and devices and their in-service behavior. Has recently worked in the field of underwater acoustics on transducer design using computer simulation based on analytical and finite element analysis methods. The main scientific interests are in the field of theory and practical applications of acoustic waves in solids, fluids and gasses. More than 120 scientific and technical publications, seven inventions, participation in national and international events. US citizen.
